Beginner Course:
The beginner course is designed to give the beginner all they need to know to
get started in fly fishing, our beginner class is designed for you.
Murray's Fly
Fishing Beginner course is an all-day (9:00am - 5:00pm) class. It
consists of seminar instruction, casting and fishing sessions. In a small
group of students (up to 12 students with 4 instructors) you will learn:
- How to select fly fishing equipment
- How to tie fly fishing knots
- How to select flies for the seasons and various
fishing areas
- How to cast a fly rod
- How to catch & release a fish on a fly rod
We will provide you with the fly fishing
equipment for the duration of the class, with the course book,
beverages and lunch (you get to catch your own lunch, a BBQ trout!)
Price:
only $175. + GST
We offer a $25 discount for Seniors (65+) and $99. for children under 15
if accompanied by an adult.

Casting Class:
For your convenience, we customize
to your needs in our Casting class. It is usually run at the same time
as our beginner class and is priced the same as the beginner class.
