Meet the Instructors

 

Murray Abbott

Murray has over 30 years experience in fly fishing. He has fished all over the world. Fly fishing is his passion.

He founded Murray's Fly Fishing in 1993. Since then, the school has grown to be one of the largest fly fishing schools in Canada.

Murray is certified from the Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF).

 

Ken Geddes

Ken has an extensive knowledge of Southern Ontario's waters and has fly fished for just about all of its species.

A knowledgeable guide and exprienced teacher, Ken has been active in the Fly Fishing community for many years. He has received many awards for his work. He has devoted much time and effort to educational projects. In addition, he has appeared as a fly tyer at the Winter Hatches Fly Fishing Club Annual Fly Tying Symposium, as well as many local clubs.

 

Suzie Boudreault

Share Suzie's enthusiasm and passion for fly fishing and casting! A seasoned fly fisher-woman, Suzie enjoys sharing her knowledge and experiences with the classes. An expert fly tyer - Murray's Fly Fishing School uses many of Suzie's flies - more specifically her well-known "Crayfish".

A professional marketer and painter, Suzie's "joie de vivre" is a famous attraction!

 

Sharon Cook

Sharon fly fishes for numerous freshwater and saltwater species. She has appeared as a guest tyer at the International Showcase of Fly tyers at the Canadian Fly Fishing Forum. She was a guest at the Showcase of Tyers at the Spring fishing Show. She has given fly fishing presentations and tying demonstrations at local clubs.

Sharon is an experienced teacher, as well as being a recognized artist for her work in the arts of fly fishing. She has created several new fly patterns and techniques for both fresh water and salt water.

 

Dan Mulhivill

Dan is an experience fly fisher and fly tyer. He has a lot of experience as a teach and is certified from the Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF). Fly fishing is his passion.
